Employed by the company, my role is providing Front end skills - Javascript, React, Next.js, SCSS, SEO and other frontend skills and experience.

The Yacht Engine is the largest selection of superyachts and luxury crewed yachts available for charter worldwide. Enquire and book yachts for charter, with expert advice on hand from leading best charter brokers.

Unified messaging for the financial community in a browser based single page app.

I was employed to design and implement the UI which was achieved through low latency native Web Components/Javascript, the Data model persisted across browser windows using a Chrome extension background page or shared web worker. Data is transported over web sockets and WebRTC using the Traderlynk javascript API which via a Traderlynk server integrates with the Microsoft Lync infrastructure.

Design and implementation of a new travel section for Wowcher.
The new design featured larger images, better placements for bonus deals a flexible grid or drop down system for displaying deal pricing and option details, and a new sub menu for deal categories.

Wowcher is a popular eCommerce site providing location based deals. Employed as a UI/UX developer providing design and development for the Wowcher web and mobile sites. Creation and implementation of new features. Investigation of issues and bug fixes, Prototyping, User journeys and Wireframes.

Design and implementation of a working proof of concept. This responsive web app for mobile browsers was created for Wowcher, a popular eCommerce site using Jquery mobile.
The app receives deal and location data through a Wowcher API and this is used to pre-load deal information, allowing the user to browse deals without waiting for loading.
Phonegap was used to convert the web app to a native app for Android, which could then be distributed through the app store.

Design and implementation of interactive magazine platform that doesn't require the use of flash. Featuring rich interactive content that works on PCs and tablet computers such as the ipad. The magazine can scaled to fill the available browser frame while maintaining its aspect ratio.

Employed as a freelance developer by Redwood Publishing to develop a Wordpress based CMS for their client - Virgin media. Set up of custom themes for desktop and mobile versions of the site. I also created custom plugins for social media tracking and a method to show different content to individual customers depending on what virginmedia package they have.

A realtime feed of twitter tweets about Skyfall the new Bond film. Javascript, Jquery and CSS3 Animation are used to load six of the latest tweets from twitter. They are then and styled up to look like id cards using Google webfonts to give an authentic retro look.

Ongoing contract with Redwood publishing as Senior Flash developer, programming interactive content for Virgin medias customer ezine "electric!" Since issue 7, April 2009.

The ezine includes various games and features, these are programmed using flash actionscript.

Intitally hosted on the Ceros ezine platform, electric has now moved to the eDition publishing platform

The Red Bull Bedroom Jam site provides a engaging experience for young musicians and music fans. Users can upload their bands music and videos to be rated by the public.
