Employed as a freelance developer by Redwood Publishing to develop a Wordpress based CMS for their client - Virgin media. Set up of custom themes for desktop and mobile versions of the site. I also created custom plugins for social media tracking and a method to show different content to individual customers depending on what virginmedia package they have.

The client was keen that the microsite reflected the epic nature of the film and showed off some of the stunning visuals in the best possible way.
Video and subtle animation was used to link to editorial features on the main handbag.com site.

Crafts is the only British magazine to cover all craft forms, from studio work to public commissions, from modern experimental work to traditional and historic designs.
Design and development of an E-commerce facility using world pay to take payments for yearly subscriptions to Crafts magazine. The form uses Javascript validation and a callback from worldpay, processed by a ASP script which enables email conformations to be automatically sent to shoppers.

The brief was to create an animated Christmas card that summed up the values of the Crafts Council, and adhered to their simple, clean design principle.
The Christmas card popped up in a new window when visiting the site. A link to the card was embedded into promotional emails.
Crafts Council - Virtual Reality Gallery

The brief was to create a Virtual Reality gallery to enable online accessibility to the Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for Metal.
Producing two Virtual Reality tours of the galleries at the Crafts Council, using panoramic pictures translated into the Apple Quicktime VR format. This format is quick to load and gives a smooth and consistant feel to the VR environment, enabling viewers to pan and zoom around the virtual gallery.

Design and creation of the original site featuring a simple, fully accessible and visually engaging web presence for a public service organisation.
A new template was designed using HTML and CSS.
The site was praised in Webactive magazine where it received 4/5 star rating.

hanky is an experimental pop band, creating inovative and unusual music.
Creation of a site reflecting the band's aesthetic, with a strong element of unspoken branding.
Including a forum allowing fans to interact with each other and the band, enabling a sense of community.
Audio and Video footage can be downloaded in a variety of formats, and a link to the band's record company site was requied enabling music to be purchased online.
Year in style carousel and voting

Build an image coverflow carousel with voting functionality to encourage users to view an image gallery.
The gallery needed to record page impressions on each click without reloading the entire page.
Voting functionality was also achieved within the flash environment enabling a seamless user experience and minimal page reloading.
